KHARTOUM, March 1 (Xinhuanet) -- US envoy to Sudan Charles Snyder arrived here Tuesday for talks with Sudanese officials.

Snyder will meet Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismail Wednesday on bilateral ties, the implementation of the peace deal for southern Sudan, and the situation in Darfur.

Ismail expressed hope that his meeting with the US envoy will be fruitful and successful.

The United States has accused the Sudanese government of genocide in Darfur, which was denied by Khartoum. Enditem
