Vietnam reports new bird flu patient

    HANOI, March. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- A person from the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi, who is under treatment in the city's Tropical Disease Institute, has just been confirmed to contract bird flu virus strain H5N1, raising the total infections in the country since December 2004 to 21, local media reported Tuesday.
