China strongly condemns suicide bomb in Tel Aviv: FM spokesman

    BEIJING, Feb. 27 (Xinhuanet) -- China expressed its severe condemnation of a suicide bomb attack which happened in Tel Aviv, Israel on Feb. 26, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao here Sunday.

    When asked to comment on the incident that left four people dead and nearly 60 others wounded, Liu said China strongly condemns the suicide bomb attack aimed at innocent civilians and sincerely hopes both Palestine and Israel will not be disturbed by it and adhere to their endeavors for the pursuit of peace.

    The spokesman made the remarks in reply to a reporter's question. Enditem
