BEIJING, Feb. 25 -- China says legislation for the anti-secession law is conducive to stability across the Taiwan Strait and peace in the Asia Pacific region.

Spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office under the State Council, Li Weiyi says the mainland has made unremitting efforts with great sincerity to promote ties across the strait.
