TIKRIT, Iraq, Feb. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- At least ten policemen were killed and 22 others wounded in a car bomb blast on Thursday morning at a police headquarters in Tikrit, 170 km north of Baghdad, police and medical sources said.

   "We received ten bodies and 22 wounded in our hospital, but the number of casualties could increase," Doctor Imad al-Jubouri told Xinhua at Tikrit Hospital.

   It was not clear whether the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber, the police said. Enditem
