Macedonia to send additional personnel to Iraq

    TIRANA, Feb. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- The Macedonian government decided Monday to deploy additional personnel in Iraq as part of the mission for training Iraqi security forces, the MIA news agency reported.

    According to the report, the government made the decision at a regular session, and the Defense Ministry will be in charge of allthe preparations.

    The report did not say how many personnel will be sent to Iraq.

    Macedonia had already deployed a special army unit with 32 troops and a liaison officer to take part in the US-led mission inIraq. Enditem
