    BEIJING, Feb. 10 -- The announcement of the final vote count following Iraq's historic elections, has been delayed while some ballot boxes are re-examined.

    The announcement had previously been expected on Thursday.

    Spokesman for Iraq's Electoral Comission Farid Ayar said work will begin on Thursday on examining the ballot boxes and the final tally will be announced later in the month.
