US to sharply increase aid to tsunami-hit nations

    WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- US President George W. Bush saidin a statement on Wednesday that he will ask the Congress to approve the increase of US aid to nations hit by the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster in December from 350 million dollars to 950 million dollars. Enditem
