BEIJING, Feb. -- Chinese comedian Stephen Chow's "Kung Fu Hustle" has become the highest-grossing film in Hong Kong, surpassing another one of his box-office hits, "Shaolin Soccer".

Kung Fu Hustle, released at the end of last year, has taken in 60.8 million Hong Kong dollars, over 7.8 million US dollars up to Sunday.

Shaolin Soccer, the previous record holder, grossed HK$60.7 million from July 5th to September 26th in 2001.

The all-time box office champion in Hong Kong is 'Titanic', which raked in HK$114 million, about US$14.6 million, from December 18th, 1997 to June 30th, 1998.
