BAGHDAD, Feb. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Militants ambushed a bus carrying Iraqi security troops late on Wednesday near the northern oil city of Kirkuk, killing 12 soldiers, the Iraqi army said Thursday.

    The Iraqi army spokesman, Maj. Gen. Anwar Ameen, said the soldiers were returning from vacation to Kirkuk, where they guard oil facilities, as the attack occurred. Enditem
