KINGSTON, Feb. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- China decided Wednesday to add to its list Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the Bahamas, Guyana, St. Lucia, Dominica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Grenada as tourist destinations for Chinese citizens.

Visiting Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong announced this when addressing the opening ceremony of the first Ministerial Meeting of the China-Caribbean Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum 2005 that opened here Wednesday morning.

Zeng spoke highly of the recognition of China's full market economy status by Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the Bahamas, Guyana, St. Lucia, Dominica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica, saying China and the Bahamas have also appropriately resolved the matter.

Zeng flew into Jamaica Tuesday, the last stop of his five-nation visit in Latin America and the Caribbean after Mexico, Peru,Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago. He is scheduled to leave here for Beijing Thursday. Enditem
