BEIJING, Jan. 24 -- Children¡¯s drama ¡°Hi, Lovely!¡± debuted Friday evening at the capital¡¯s Century Theatre.

    This is the second big production by Beijing Children¡¯s Art Theatre since last year¡¯s hit ¡°Labyrinth.¡±

    The drama has so far taken over two million yuan at the box office, with half of its tickets being sold.
Through the perspective of a little boy named Lovely, the drama expresses children¡¯s wishes to be themselves instead fulfilling all of their parent¡¯s expectations.

    Zou Jing, author of the new play, said the theatre company hoped to produce a drama that really touched the hearts of children, and taught them things they wouldn¡¯t otherwise learn.

    ¡°Hi, Lovely!¡± will hit the stage 14 times before closing.
