GAZA, Jan. 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian militant factions on Tuesday continued attacks on Israeli targets in the Gaza Strip.
Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic resistance movement Hamas, announced in a leaflet sent to reporters Tuesday that its militants fired at least one Qassam rocket on the settlement of Nisaneet in the northern Gaza Strip.
In another leaflet, the brigades said its militants launched four mortar shells at the settlement of Kfar Darom, east of the central Gaza city of Deer al-Balah.
The leaflet also said that the brigades fired a mortar shell on an Israeli outpost in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
The armed attacks will continue till forcing the Zionist enemy out of the Palestinian lands, the leaflet claimed. Meanwhile, Saraya al Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad movement, claimed responsibility for shelling the Erez crossing in the north of the Gaza Strip by three homemade rockets of Quds-1.
Also on Tuesday, the Brigades of Ahmad Abu Reesh, an armed wing of Fatah movement, announced that its militants fired two homemade rockets on the settlement of Genital, north of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis.
The group asserted that the attack came as a response to the ongoing Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people. Enditem
