BEIJING, Jan. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has become impatient to answer questions by world media about his case of love-split with Jennifer Aniston.

In Pitt's news conference in Tokyo of his caper movie Ocean's Twelve, only the Japanese reporters were let in.

They were told to be ¡°polite to Mr. Pitt¡± ¡ª and warned that questions about his marriage split, which was revealed a week ago, were off limits. And they promised to follow the advice.

American TV show producer Antony Beilinsohn says the media freeze was to be expected.

"Given the fact that he is going through a difficult time in his relationship, it's to be expected that the world's media is not allowed inside," he said.

"Disappointed? Definitely. But to be expected? Certainly," added Beilinsohn, who had flown in from the United States in hopes of hearing what Pitt had to say.

Pitt arrived in Japan with Ocean¡¯s Twelve co-stars George Clooney and Matt Damon. He smiled at the airport but ignored questions.

Pitt and Aniston were married in a celebrity-studded wedding in the seaside California resort of Malibu on July 29, 2000.

They announced last Friday they were separating after four years of marriage.

In a statement on Friday, they denied that the tabloid reports on the reason for their split were accurate and said they remained "committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another". Enditem
