Gunmen kill 6 Iraqis in attack on Baghdad hotel

   BAGHDAD, Jan. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Gunmen shot dead six people and kidnapped a Turkish businessman in an attack on a hotel in central Baghdad on Thursday, witnesses and police said.

   The attack occurred at 6:30 a.m. (0430 GMT) when gunmen opened fire on a minibus that came to pick up the businessman from the Bakhan Hotel.

   The six people on board were all killed, while the businessman, identified as Abdulkadir Tanrikulu, was kidnapped.

   The incident was still under investigation.

   Iraqi militants have targeted Iraqis and foreigners working with the US-led coalition.  Enditem
