    JERUSALEM, Jan. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli police detained Palestinian presidential candidate Mustafa Barghouti on Friday when he tried to pary at the Al Aqsa mosque compound.

    Barghouti was forced by several Israeli plainclothes officer into a police car outside the entrance of Jerusalem's Old City, witness said.

    It was the second time Barghouti was detained by Jerusalem police during the campaign. Enditem
