Li Xiang's TV host partner He Jiong arrived in Beijing to attend the wedding ceremony with other friends from Hunan TV, where the bride has become a household name for hosting a leisure program.

The wedding ceremony turned out to be a gala of entertainment stars, political VIPs, and tycoons from the diamond industry, who sent their best wishes to the newlywed couple.

The bride's diamond wedding ring, by American designer Kenneth Cole, was inscribed with "6.16," the date on which the two first met in 2004.

Famous fashion designer Mark Cheung created the wedding gowns for Li Xiang, which combined traditional and modern elements.

The bride had to delay the release of her second album to May this year due to the wedding preparations.
