PARIS, Dec. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- France expresses its concern overthe continued Israeli operations in southern Gaza, the Frenchforeign ministry declared Friday.

   "Israeli military operations continuing in the southern GazaStrip, which killed 11 Palestinians including two teenagers, makeus worry," foreign ministry's spokesman Herve Ladsous said at anews conference.

   France calls on all parties to show restraint in order toenable the holding of Palestinian presidential election on Jan. 9,he added.

   The Israeli operations aimed at ending rockets and mortarshells launch against Israeli settlers at the southern Gaza townof Khan Younis.  Enditem
