The victims include one from China's Jiangsu Province, one from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region(SAR) and the other two from Taiwan Province.

Till Friday morning, 14 Chinese tourists had been injured in the tidal waves, including three from Hong Kong SAR. Most of the wounded have returned home.

An official from the Chinese embassy in Thailand revealed that 111 Hong Kong tourists were missing. He hoped Thai government could help the Chinese side in searching for those tourists.
