Sri Lankan death toll rises to 12,520

    COLOMBO, Dec. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- The death toll from Sunday's tsunami in Sri Lanka has rises to 12,520 with the recovery of 482 new bodies, according to a military spokesman Tuesday.

    Most of the dead people were found in Galle, a city some 100 kilometers south of Sri Lanka's capital and one of the places in this island country hit most by a worst tsunami caused by a great earthquake in Indonesia. Enditem
