DHAKA, Dec. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- A strong earthquake
measuring 7.36 degrees at the Richter scale, shocked different parts of
Bangladesh Sunday morning, according to an official press release.
The earthquake lasted for one minute and 42 seconds, jolting buildings in
some cities in southeastern Bangladesh. Panic residents run out of their homes
to streets.
The epicenter was 1,019 kilometers away from the observatory center in
Chittagong, a port city in southeastern Bangladesh.
