At least 150 killed after tsunami hits Sri Lanka

    COLOMBO, Dec. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- At least 150 people were killed after tsunami hit northeastern Sri Lanka on Sunday, rescue officials said.

    The tsunami was triggered by a massive earthquake off Indonesia.

    There were no immediate reports of casualties from other coastal areas which were also rocked by the tsunami waves.
