China to further boost foreign trade
www.chinaview.cn 2004-12-25 20:17:25

BEIJING, Dec. 25 -- Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai says China will take measures to expand foreign trade.

He says the volume of China's foreign trade has grown rapidly in the past few years and made a great contribution to the world economy.

But further expansion is hindered by international trade barriers and poor technology research and development capability.

Bo Xilai says the government will improve public information on export markets and support small and medium-sized companies.

It will also promote exports of products copyrighted in China.

Import controls will be adjusted to shield prices from changes in the international market. Enditem
