NEW DELHI, Dec. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- Former Indian prime minister P. V. Narasimha Rao died on Thursday at age of 83, the Press Trust ofIndia quoted Rao's aide Chetan Sharma as saying.

    Rao was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Scienceshere with complaint of breathlessness on Dec. 9, breathed his lastThursday afternoon in the hospital. Enditem
