DAMASCUS, Dec. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Otri on Wednesday urged Israel to return the rights, including the occupied lands, to its original owner.

Otri made the remarks at a joint press conference with his visiting Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyeb Erdogan.

Erdogan arrived in Damascus earlier Wednesday for an official visit here.

Otri reaffirmed his country's firm stand concerning the Mideast peace process, stressing that a just and comprehensive peace is astrategic choice.

The Syrian prime minister criticized the other side of the peace process, namely Israel, did not stand by the peace and would not promote the realization of peace.

He called upon the international community to further press Israel on this regard.  Enditem
