BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan will pay official visits to Palestine and Israel from Dec.25 to 31, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao here Tuesday.

    Tang visits the two countries at the invitation of the Palestinian National Authority and the Government of the State of Israel, Liu told a regular press conference.

    During the visit, Tang will meet with the leaders of the two countries and exchange views with them on the further development of bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues of common interest, including the Middle East situation, the spokesman said. Enditem
