Israeli army destroyed Monday two houses in the West Bank belonging to militants. £¨file£© | Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's senior Adviser, Dov Weisglass agreed that the upcoming election will follow the principles of the 1996 Palestinian election.
The two sides also agreed to hold another meeting later this week for a final agreement on how Israel will assist the election.
Israel has pledged that the Israeli army will withdraw from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip 48 hours before the election, and temporarily loosen movement restrictions on Palestinians.
