Yukos subsidiary auctioned off

    MOSCOW, Dec. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Russia's Baikal Finance Group has acquired Yuganskneftegaz, embattled Russian oil giant Yuko's core production subsidiary, for 260.753 billion roubles (9,312.607 million US dollars), according to the Itar-Tass news agency.

ĦĦĦĦThe auction for a 76.79 percent stake in Yuganskneftegaz kickedoff at 3:59 p.m. Moscow time (1259GMT) Sunday.

    The auction commission allowed only two bidders to take part inthe auction, Interfax said. More
