CAIRO, Dec. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Tuesday morning met with US Trade Representative Robert Zoelick, the official MENA news agency reported.

Zoelick, who arrived here Monday night, is to attend the signing ceremony of the Qualified Industrial Zones (QIZs) agreement between Egypt, the United States and Israel.

The agreement will enable Egypt to export goods to America duty-free, as long as they have a minimum percentage made in Israel and create a big number of jobs for Egypt.

The meeting between Mubarak and Zoelick was attended by Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Rashid Mohamad Rashid and US Ambassador in Cairo David Welch. Enditem
