US veterans affairs secretary resigns

    WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- US Secretary of Veterans Affairs Anthony Principi announced his resignation on Wednesday, becoming the ninth cabinet member to resign after President George W. Bush was reelected in early November.
