KUWAIT CITY, Dec. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Monday condemned the terrorist attack against the US consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Kuwait News Agency reported.
The Prime Minister said in a cable sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Fahd bin Abdelaziz that the attack contradicted with principles of the Islamic magnanimous creed and targeted souls of innocent people.
Sheikh Sabah underlined the stand of Kuwait with all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to preserve its security and stability.
The Prime Minister sent similar cables to the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Chief of the National Guards Abdallahbin Abdelaziz and to the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General Sultan bin Abdelaziz.
Sheikh Sabah also sent a cable to US President George Bush, voicing the condemnation of Kuwait of the terrorist attack against the US consulate which targeted the souls of innocent people.
According to Saudi sources, four Saudi guards and three attackers were killed when the Saudi security forces stormed into the US consulate. Enditem
