| Islamic Jihad militants open fire at Jewish settlers |

GAZA, Dec. 6
(Xinhuanet) -- Saraya al Quds, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War)
Movement, claimed responsibility on Monday for opening fire at Jewish settlers'
cars in the southern Gaza Strip.
The group said in a
leaflet that its militants opened intensive gunfire at the settlers' cars that
drove near the Jewish settlement of Rafeyah Yam in the southern Gaza Strip.
The leaflet also said a number of the settlers' cars were
damaged, adding that the gunfire lasted for several minutes before the militants
managed to flee the area.
