UAE sends fifth relief ship to Iraq

   ABU DHABI, Dec. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- A Red Crescent Society (RCS)relief ship of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) set sail to the Iraqi port of Umm Qasr on Sunday, the official WAM news agency reported.

   Departing from Dubai's Jebel Ali port as part of the RCS' effort to assist the Iraqi people, the ship was loaded with 400 tons of relief aid, including 20 containers of medical supplies, Saleh AlMualla, RCS deputy secretary general in charge of foreign relations, was quoted as saying.

   The society was trying to improve humanitarian and living conditions in a number of towns affected by events in Iraq, Muallaadded. Enditem
