    BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao shook hands with AIDS patients in a Beijing hospital Tuesday afternoon, encouraging them to "enhance confidence and courage to combat and overcome the disease."

    During the visit to the Beijing You'an Hospital, Hu also urged the whole society to phase out "discrimination and estrangement" towards AIDS patients. Enditem
