US military helicopter crashes

    WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- A US military Blackhawk helicopter carrying seven soldiers crashed in the south-central US state of Texas on Monday, media reports said.

    The helicopter was flying from Fort Hood, and there were no reports of injuries or casualties so far.

    The helicopter crashed in foggy weather at about 9 a.m. EST near Interstate 35 south of Waco, a shipping and industrial centerin central Texas, a military spokesman was quoted as saying.

    Investigators from Fort Hood were heading to the scene of the crash, the spokesman said. Enditem
