VIENNA, Nov. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ELBaradei said on Monday that Iran has suspended all uranium enrichment activities after the country's agreement to add 20 centrifuges to a freeze of activities.
"We have verified these 20 centrifuges and they are under the IAEA's surveillance system," ELBaradei said just before the agency's board of governors meeting.
On Sunday, Iran backed down on a demand to exempt 20 centrifuges from the freeze on uranium enrichment that can make atomic bombs. Enditem |
