2005 Pirelli calendar babes
www.chinaview.cn 2004-11-22 10:12:37

BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- November in Italy is calendar-war month, when the publishing industry does battle in newspaper kiosks with the latest crop of scantily clad starlets.

The 2005 Pirelli calendar, launched this week, promises to be steamier than ever, but mere mortals will not be able to get their hands on it. Only 400 copies of the glossy calendar will be printed for the UK, making it even more sought after than the 2003 version, which recently sold on eBay for a whopping ¡ê9,000.

Patrick Demarchelier is the photographer for the calendar. Naomi Campbell, Valentina, Adriana and Liliane Ferrarezi, were among the stars in this calendar.
