BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- The US military says 51 US soldiers were killed in the 11-day fight in Fallujah, in Iraq.

US and Iraqi forces ended bombardments against Fallujah on Friday and started a house-by-house search for remaining insurgents.

On the same day, two car bombs hit Baghdad, killing at least 7 people, including five policemen and two civilians.

To the north in Mosul, a group led by alleged al-Qaida ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi says it has beheaded two Iraqi officers in broad daylight in the Iraqi city. Enditem
