Bush plans to tap Rice to replace Powell

    WASHINGTON, Nov. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- National security adviser Condoleezza Rice will be nominated to replace outgoing Secretary of State Colin Powell, senior administration officials said on Monday.

    US President George W. Bush also plans to name Rice's deputy, Stephen Hadley, to replace her as national security adviser, the officials said. Enditem
