Iraqi insurgents attack police stations, killing seven

    BAGHDAD, November 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Iraqi insurgents launched a series of bloody attacks against police stations in the western Iraqi province of Anbar and in the neighboring towns of Haditha and Haqlaniyah in the early hours of Sunday, killing at least 7 policemen, Iraqi police sources said.

    In the attacks, armed insurgents clashed with police and set off explosions at police stations in the regions. At least six policemen were killed at the Haqlaniyah police station, and a separarte police officer in Anbar was also killed. More
