Bin Laden statement vows revenge
www.chinaview.cn 2004-11-04 14:54:42

BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- A video shown last week on Al-Jazeera reportedly by Osama bin Laden, has been posted on an Islamic web site. It warned of retaliation by Al-Qaeda, for Iraqis killed during the US-led invasion. In the eighteen-minute video, bin Laden accused the US of launching an unjustified war on Iraq, and said al-Qaeda would continue its fight with the US.

He also said the US was stranded in a quagmire, and that al-Qaeda would carry on its mission, until the US is defeated. Al-Jazeera aired a video clip last week, but did not say which parts it did not include. In the video, bin Laden admitted for the first time, that he ordered the 2001 September 11 attacks in the US.
