WARSAW, Nov. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski said Wednesday that Hungary's decision to pull out of its troops from Iraq will not influence his country.

He said Hungary has the right to make its own decisions. Polandalso wishes to withdraw its troops and cut the number of soldiers there, but his country has to strictly abide by the withdrawal schedule and complete its mission to maintain stability in Iraq.

Poland has 2,400 soldiers in Iraq, following the United States,Britain and Italy.

Kwasniewski said he hoped Hungary's pullout will be discussed by the US-led coalition.

Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany announced Wednesday that 300 Hungarian troops will be withdrawn from Iraq by the end of March 2005.

Hungary is the first of the new European Union (EU) states which had joined the US-led invasion of Iraq to announce a formal withdrawal date. Enditem
