BAGHDAD, Nov. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- One US soldier was killed and another wounded in a roadside bomb attack southeast of Baghdad on Wednesday, the US military said in a statement.

    The attack took place at about 7:12 am (0412 GMT) near Salman Pak area, some 20 km southeast of Baghdad, the statement said, without giving further details about the incident.

    Over 1,120 US servicemen have been killed in Iraq since last year's US-led invasion of the country. Enditem
