Palestinian dies of wounds as Israel imposes closure in Nablus

    RAMALLAH, Nov. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- A Palestinian died of wounds sustained in the West Bank city of Nablus Tuesday evening, Palestinian security sources said Wednesday.

    General security administration said that Fadi Kafeesha was seriously wounded in al Basha street late Tuesday in Nablus when the Israeli army opened intensive fire at gathering Palestinians inthe area.

    Meanwhile, Israeli troops imposed closure on Nablus at predawn Wednesday, isolating it from other cities and towns, according to security sources.

    Israeli troops, backed by tanks and armored vehicles, stormed several neighborhoods of the city Tuesday evening, killing three Palestinians and wounding several others, including one in criticalcondition. Enditem
