Bush wins Virginia state: CNN exit polls

    WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- The US Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush has won in the crucial state of Virginia,which is a traditional Republican stronghold with 13 electoral votes, CNN reported Tuesday, citing exit polls.

    Virginia has not backed a Democratic presidential candidate in 40 years.
