กก  PARIS, Nov. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, hospitalized in Paris, condemned Monday a suicide bombing which killed three civilians and the bomber in Tel Aviv, his senior advisor Nabil Abu Rudeina said.

Arafat asked Abu Rudeina by phone from the Percy military hospital in Clamart, southwest of Paris, to condemn the blast on his behalf, French LCI television quoted the advisor as saying.

"He reaffirmed that he has always been against attacks targeting civilians, whatever their nationality or religion," Abu Rudeina said.

The suicide bombing occurred in an open market in central Tel Aviv on Monday, killing three civilians and injuring at least 32 others.

The attack was claimed by the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

The suicide bomber, a member of the PFLP armed wing, was identified as Ali al Far, 18, from the refugee camp of Balatta near the northern West Bank town of Nablus, according to a report of the pro-Hezbollah television satellite station al Mannar. Enditem
