JAKARTA, Oct. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- The Indonesian government hoped that the condition of Palestine top leader Yasser Arafat to be on progress soon, the foreign affair ministry said on Friday.

"For Indonesia, Yasser Arafat is the symbol of the Palestinian struggle for an independence," Marty Natalegawa told a press conference here.

The Indonesian government persistently followed the health condition of the Palestine charismatic leader, he said.

Natalegawa said that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would soon send a letter over Arafat condition.

"(The message) has being sent to Palestine, in which Indonesia expects (Arafat) to be cured soon," he said. Enditem
