3 Palestinians injured in Jenin

    RAMALLAH, Oct. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Three Palestinians were injured on Wednesday evening when Israeli soldiers raided the West Bank city of Jenin, Palestinian security sources said on Thursday.

    The sources said that Israeli troops, backed by about 50 tanks and armored vehicles, stormed the city and the refugee camp of Jenin, adding that the army imposed curfew on residents at predawn.

    Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers seized several houses and searched inside, and turned them into army outposts, from where the Israeli army says it could look for wanted militants

    Meanwhile, Israeli troops stormed at predawn the refugee camp of Ein al-Maa in the West Bank city of Nablus.

    Security sources said that Israeli soldiers besieged residents' houses and searched inside, adding that the soldiers arrested three Palestinians and took them to unknown places. Enditem
