Ba'asyir trial over terrorist blasts starts in Jakarta

    JAKARTA, Oct. 28 (Xinhuanet)-- The second trial on terrorist charges against the 66-year-old Indonesian Muslim cleric Abu BakarBa'asyir officially kicked off at 10:00 (local time) by the South Jakarta District Court here Thursday.

    Ba'asyir has already been transferred from the prison to the district court at the Ministry of Agriculture's auditorium in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta under heavy security of some 300 policemen and security personnel in the early morning. Enditem
