ZHUHAI, Oct. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- The acrobatics team of Russian Air force, Swifts, will fly at the Fifth China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (CIAAE) Nov. 1-7 in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province.

The planes they will use, Mig-29m2, are the latest multi-purpose combat planes with double seats produced by the Russian MiG company, said information from the organizing committee of thefair.

The fair, which is a biannual event, will be attended by delegations from 32 countries and regions, a record high. Newcomers include the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Greece, Sweden, Finland, India, Chile and Iran. The fair has 16,000 sq m for exhibition, making it 15 percent larger than the previous one.

Apart from MiG-29m2 planes, "Eagle," a kind of new-generation high-grade coach planes developed by the Guizhou Aerospace Industry Group Company, will also make its debut at the fair.

Business representatives of a dozen international aviation and aerospace companies such as Boeing, Airbus and GE will also attend the air show, an biennial event.

Other aerial acrobatics teams, including the "Golden Dream" from Britain and the "August 1st" of Chinese Air Force, will also stage performances at the show.

The famous French Air Force aerobatics squad, "Patrouille de France" (PAF), performed its last show in Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong Province on Sunday, wrapping up its tour that began Oct.11.

The first such air show was held in 1996. Enditem
